Reed Exhibitions, Tchibo Germany & Magnolia Solutions are delighted to announce a world-first international collaboration to launch Tchibo Innovation Pitchfest; an exciting initiative that sets to expose Australian products to the international marketplace. This partnership showcases Reed Exhibition’s commitment to supporting Australia’s vibrant and innovative retail industry with an influential organisation that sets to provide a platform for broad, international promotion. Held on February 25 2015, (following Reed Gift Fairs and Life Instyle, Sydney), exhibitors are invited to submit their products to win a manufacturing support package and exposure to the Tchibo’s Buying Team. The winner’s product will be considered for inclusion in Tchibo stores throughout Europe.
The concept of Tchibo Innovation Pitchfest was born following Head of Creative Sourcing and Co-operation, Bastian Grafe visit to Reed Gift Fairs Melbourne, August 2014 and recognized Australia as being an untapped resource for product innovation and design. Ready to push boundaries, Tchibo extended an invitation for Life Instyle and Reed Gift exhibitors to join forces and discover emerging talent and products to produce on an international landscape. ‘The initiative provides a platform for Australian Businesses and Creatives to collaborate and launch internationally. We look forward to sharing our expertise and experience the new product and concept ideas at the first ever Innovation Pitchfest in Sydney, Australia says Tchibo Director of Director Products, Christoph Honnefelder. Exhibitors are invited to submit their design, concept or product by 16 January 2015. All entrants will leverage Tchibo’s existing economies of scale and have access to the Tchibo’s manufacturing team for potential manufacturing opportunities in Asia. Shortlisted businesses will be announced in January 2015 and be invited to participate in qualifying pitch rounds.
